Dy presiding the oath-taking ceremonies of the newly-elected officers.Bottom: Some of the distinguished guestsShe presented the four major goals for 2007-2009 namely, improvement of the Alumni Room, scholarship grants for CGH nurses and CGH clinical instructors, increasing the Alumni funds and preparation for the International Homecoming 2010. Guests uttered their excitement upon hearing these goals.Members were encouraged to offer proposals, comments and suggestions for the betterment of the association and its functions.The affair was a tribute to nursing and its excellence, as expressed in Ms. Cheng-Vy's speech. Certainly, her words are true, "There are very few professions that can give so many opportunities to do so much good."As the lights of the special night closed, praises for the previous set of officers and anticipation for the present set were heard. Everybody went home excited to take part in the fulfillment of the association's goals.
